Hello Barbara, I am responding to your job advert , because I am very interested in working with an elderly woman with these particular issues . I have completed a Care Assistance Course with Chiswick Nursing Home . This included training for people with Dementia and DoLs. I have 3.5 years experience working with a visually impaired elderly gentleman with rheumatism . I am a PA / Carer to him and I support him in his own home . This involves general ablutions , such as bathing/ dressing . I make and cook breakfast and dinner. I manage admin, and banking and money transactions. I escort him to appointments with friends, family and GP and The Hospital . I collect prescriptions and administer medication . I do hold a DBS Certificate with Christ Church in Chiswick.
